Jonathan is a clinical operations leader with extensive experience delivering complex ophthalmology and subretinal gene therapy programmes across biotech and pharma. With two decades of industry experience, he has held operations positions at companies including SpliceBio, ProQR, Gyroscope Therapeutics, Nightstar Therapeutics and Allergan, involving complex global trial execution.

His expertise spans ophthalmic subretinal gene and RNA-based therapies and inherited retinal diseases. Within gene therapy, Jonathan has overseen first-in-human through late-phase studies, natural history and genotyping programmes, development of surgical training plans for subretinal delivery of AAV vectors, and large-scale vendor and CRO partnerships. Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics and a Master’s degree in Translational Medicine.
