Matina is a Scientist in the Research team at Complement Therapeutics, bringing a background in nanotechnology, regenerative medicine and translational cell biology. She supported CTx001 IB and IND-enabling activities through the development and documentation of translational cell-based assays. Matina is currently working on pipeline expansion efforts by co-developing disease models to measure complement bioactivity in cells.

Her expertise includes cell culture, gene delivery and quantitative immunoassays. Matina holds a Master’s degree from University College London in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine and applies her experimental design and data analysis skills to support preclinical and translational research.
